| State Constitutional Amendments on the November 3 Ballot |
|
|
On November 3, every Texan will have an opportunity to vote for eleven constitutional amendments that will be on the ballot. Propositions 2,3 and 5 affect private property owners, specifically appraisal reform. TAR and HAR diligently worked in the past legislative session to ensure that amenable appraisal reform occurred. Join HAR in supporting constitutional amendments 2,3,4,5,9 and 11 on November 3.

Governor Rick Perry signed two appraisal bills, HB 8 and 3613, in HAR's Training Room. He was joined the authors of the two bills State Senator Tommy Williams and State Representative John Otto along with State Senator Dan Patrick, State Representative Kino Flores of McAllen and Tax Assessor-Collector Leo Vasquez.More |
